התאחדות ברית הקהילות המשיחיות באוסטרליה

Directory of Australasian Alliance of Messianic Congregations

Ha’Derech is part of the “Australian Alliance of Messianic Congregations” working together to change this great nation through a network of Messianic Kehillot, training events and resources. Giving Elohim all the glory

To enable this to happen there are people & teams within this nation pushing this common vision. All this requires time, investment and application of the gifts Elohim has given to each of us.

Believing in each other

Community is the “Jewish way” & whether its 3-people or 3000-people, we are all one under God. As Rav Shaul said in 1-COR 15:58.. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of YHVH, because you know that your labour in YHVH is not in vain”. Being the body that has many parts, we encourage each others labours to work for the glory of His Kingdom in each individuals unique way. The same ruach that moves one will also move another showing no discrepancy.

Give to Him

The congregation becomes a cultural bridge for Jews & Gentiles alike giving you opportunity to tell the rest of your family & friends about the decision to take your spiritual walk higher. Over the long term, there are usually many opportunities haShem grants us to then reach out to other family members. This is even more important for a married person who needs to witness to their spouse in a culturally sensitive environment. Congregations have been the most effective means to bring whole families to faith & serving the community & the Kingdom. You become the “Good tree” that not only bears fruits of the spirit, that is your mitzvot, but fruits of the Kingdom, that is the nefeshot that were lost but are now found…

Rosh Kehillah in magic moment

On a recent visit to Eretz kadosh, Kehillat haDerech "Rosh Kehillah" was witness to something quite extraordinary when he turned out to be the only one attending the Kotel. Normally day time visitors to ha'Kotel are in the hundreds, even on Shabbat. The JAN sky was grey that day & the drizzle was scattered. To find yourself the only one present was truly a surreal moment that had to be captured in order to prove it. "It felt like the God of Israel gave me his un-interrupted attention as I prayed"

Hachnasat Sefer Torah / הכנסת ספר תורה

On the 18th Adar (14-MAR) Kehillat haDerech welcomed their new Sefer Torah purchased from a Messianic believer in Haifa, Israel on a recent trip. The Kedusha of this Sefer Torah was welcomed with friends & family bringing much joy into the day & honour to the Messianic Judaism believers of Sydney but most importantly. This brought the most honour (kevod) to Avinu Sh'ba'Shamayim where He can now establish His name & the name of His Mashiach Yeshua tzidchanu in this great city. All for the glory of the God of Avraham

The 3-main themes of Jewish covenantal life is …..
  1. Teshuvah / תשובה  (repentance)
  2. Tefilah /  תְּפִלָּה  (prayer)
  3. Tzedakah / צדקה‎ (charity)

In these themes we live. In these themes Yeshua lived. By upholding these values, never being far from anyone. We remain close to the Master wanting us to be His “Am Segulah / עַם סְגֻלָּה” (treasured people) by walking in these 3x themes that incite His own care & attention

One of the greatest sins is to forget who you really are — a prince or princess of Elohim. Forgetting who you are leads to forgetting who YHVH is, just as forgetting who YHVH is leads to forgetting who you are…. A verse from the Torah reading called “Parashat Re’eh” In this verse, Moses reminds the people that they are children of YHVH & therefore they were not to mourn for the dead like those without hope of life beyond the grave… Our God, the Father of Israel, is eternal, and even if our earthly fathers were to die, we will never be orphans, because YHVH, the Everlasting God who is the “God of the spirits of all flesh” always watches over us: “He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber” (Psalm 121:03). But if we forget who we are, if we lose sight of our place in the Heavenly Father’s heart, then we are likely to fall into a state of excessive and self-destructive mourning over the losses we experience in this world. In the most tragic cases, this can lead to the darkness of unremedied despair, “living among the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones” (MAR 05:05). On the other hand, if we remember our place at the Father’s table as his children, if we take hold that we are beloved of God – his very own “treasured people” – then we will regard the difficulties we encounter in this world as a test of faith intended for our good (JER 29:11) Notice further that this passage states that the people were chosen by YHVH to be his own “possession” (i.e.Segulah) from all other peoples in the earth.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis
